CAMPING & GLAMPING
Stay at Chalke and wake up to one of the best views in Wiltshire overlooking the festival site and Chalke Valley. Grass pitches for tents and motor-homes are available and the site has hot shower facilities, toilets, campsite food vendor and a picnic tent.
For a more luxurious stay, we have a range of Glamping Tents in a dedicated area of the campsite. Enjoy exclusive showers and toilets, a reception area and access to our ‘Pamper Tent’.
Workshops & Experiences
Our hands-on workshops and experiences allow visitors to actively engage with history in a meaningful and memorable way. Whether you’re learning to carve stone, medieval calligraphy or exploring a Second World War trench, these festival activities provide a deeper understanding of the past and offer a chance to truly immerse oneself in history.
Festival Fine Dining
Victoria’s Food, headed up by the renowned cook Victoria Blashford-Snell, will be serving a delicious new menu from Monday to Thursday in the Dining Tent. From Friday to Sunday we will be joined by Becka Cooper and her team, known for catering at The Grange Festival. All meals use locally sourced fresh ingredients, with vegetarian options available.

READ THE FAQS
What’s included in my entry ticket?
Entry to all talks, living history areas, performance, live music, emporium, Waterstones book shop and food outlets, are all included in your entry ticket. In past years, talk tickets were sold separately but this led to confusion and complication for festival visitors. We decided to include all talks in your entry ticket so that you can enjoy all the talks on offer without the hassle of booking additional tickets.
Can I buy an evening ticket?
Yes, for those unable to join us for a full day, evening tickets can be bought for the festival from Monday – Saturday. These tickets will be available from April.
When do the 7 & 3 day tickets increase in price?
On 15 April, 7-day Adult tickets will increase to £210, the 3-day to £140. On 1 June, these will rise to £225 (7-day) and £150 (3-day).
For Students, on 15 April, the 7-day price will increase to £105, the 3-day to £70. On 1 June to £112.50 (7-day) and £75 (3-day).
Where can I find the full festival line-up?
The full line-up will be available in April.
How can I reserve seats for talks?
All visitors to the festival will have access to watch the talks. However, only members of the Chalke History Club are able to reserve seats. As well as supporting the festival, Club members are entitled to numerous online and festival benefits, including access to past talks, live winter talks and festival parking.
